How to tie a big fat knot

1. Determine if you need a double or single thread and what color.

2. Thread the needle.

3. Grasp the thread end between your thumb and forefinger.

4. Wrap the thread around your forefinger and make an X with the thread.

5. Roll that thread X down your forefinger.

6. Put your middle finger or fingernail on the roll of thread.

7. PULL the long end so the knot ties.

Don't worry if it takes a while to get the hang of it. Once you get it right, it will be the only way you can tie a knot anymore. It is a skill come of practice, just like catching or backflips. Don't get frustrated, keep trying.
